• Search by space character: Because search terms are whitespace-delimited, a single half-width space was treated as zero query terms and matched nothing. You can now search for spaces directly, including across multiple files.
• Character count: Displays the character count in the status bar (shows "Selected N / Total M chars" when text is selected). Handy for checking character limits before posting to social media.
