Yana Studio IDE v1.7
One runtime. Any AI. Human-governed. Deterministic local control over what AI can access and run.
Changelog
Yana Studio IDE v1.7
Yana Studio IDE is a new desktop app built on a VS Code (Code-OSS 1.141.0) base. It replaces the earlier Electron-based Yana Studio (1.6.x and older). The two are separate apps with different bundle IDs.

Known limitations
- macOS Apple Silicon only. There are no Windows, Linux or Intel Mac builds in this release.
- The app is not signed with an Apple Developer ID and is not notarized, so Gatekeeper blocks the first launch. Right-click the app and choose Open, or run
xattr -cr "/Applications/Yana Studio.app"once. - The About dialog shows the VS Code base version (1.141.0), not 1.7.
- The DMG was built from a local build tree, not from a CI run, so the tag does not reproduce it byte for byte.
- Not yet tested: agent chat, sign-in flows, and syntax highlighting after the
onig.wasmpackaging fix (the fix removed the load error in logs, but highlighting was not checked by eye). - The log still reports that remote tunneling is unavailable (no tunnel config in product.json).
